Full length Hmong Cho jacket with red and white embroidery



This beautiful Jacket is made in the small village of Cat Cat near the Town of Sapa in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range which lie in the north of Vietnam.

Each Hmong jacket is unique therefore we will sell each jacket individually. When one jacket sells, another will be put up.

Size: Large 36 – 38 EU.

Length: 160cm.

Material: Organic cotton naturally dyed in indigo dye stitched with cotton embroidery.

Who made it

This jacket was made by Cho Cho, she is part of the black H’mong tribe. This jacket took over 3 months to make.

The ancient black Hmong tribe has alway used textiles and jewellery as a means to communicate the beauty and elegance of the natural world around them. Each garment is hand made with its own unique embroidery. These garments are used as a means to communicate a specific stage in the owners life.

The Hmong people traditionally make their clothes annually and will finish all their garments in time for their new lunar year in February
